How We Started
In 2008 our founder, Brian Clark BSN, MSNA, realized there was a deficiency of online information regarding free, concise, and comprehensive emergency life saving principles.
There was no free online resource that provided easy to reference algorithms for Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS). From that idea United Medical Education was created.
Our Mission
United Medical Education began with the intent to make life saving techniques more abundantly available both nationally and internationally.
It is our mission to broaden the accessibility of emergency life saving training to both developed countries and impoverished nations.

United Medical Education now has one of the largest and most referenced free online libraries of emergency life saving training on the planet.
Visited by millions of healthcare providers and lay persons alike, we work towards standardizing a basic level of proficiency in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) among community members, and a higher level of efficiency in more complex life saving algorithms among healthcare professionals.
